The Plant Gallery is a comprehensive center for sophisticated lifestyle & gardening services and products. Offering a variety of services ranging from estate and commercial landscaping to floral creations for all occasions, we believe that we offer our clients a superior experience by consolidating our services and resources to one, central location.
With a professional staff of over 60 landscape architects, designers and technical professionals on site, we approach every phase of a project with our clients’ goals in mind—from conceptual design to implementation. TPG projects vary greatly in scope, yet each exhibits a sensitive response to the unique needs of the project. In selecting plants that are appropriate and proportioned to the project, the result is a beautiful and functionally responsive end-product—be it a corporate landscape, a residential garden or a floral creation.
In the Beginning
Founder Kenneth Rabalais, Jr.’s love of nature inspired him to work with lawns and gardens while still in high school, running a small lawn care service that eventually grew to include landscape design and installation. Even after he began his studies at Southeastern University, Kenny continued to pursue his passion and, upon receiving his degree in Management and Marketing, expanded his vision to include a full-service lifestyle company.
In 1991, Kenny and his wife, Jennifer, created The Plant Gallery. It grew from a small site in the French Quarter with only 2 employees to an organization with a reputation for creating and maintaining some of the finest residential, corporate, and public gardens in the New Orleans area. Quality products and services, provided with genuine love of what they were doing, helped them expand The Plant Gallery to 3 locations around the city.
In 1998, the couple realized their bigger vision: to provide clientele with the broad range of services that support a distinctive lifestyle. They opened the present 98,000 square-feet facility on Airline Drive where The Plant Gallery now employs over 60 professionals, offering floral, landscape, maintenance, and plant rental services.
Kenny and Jennifer also added an incredible 5,000 square-feet gift center that has some of the most unique home and patio accents in the city.

The company started by enhancing the home with floral creations, moved to garden design and maintenance, and have now grown to include various products and services ranging from high-end home furnishings to commercial landscape design and installations. No matter the product or service, we recognize the importance of excellence in business practices and in offering the highest quality to our customers.
We acknowledge that our company’s health is sustained by members of the community, and we recognize that it is important to actively support this vital community in order to improve the quality of life whenever possible.
